I've packed my schedule and ready to go.

"Dear Time,

How is it my good friend. Do you mind if I ask you a little special favour. This favour may not just benefit me but also a lot of others out there. So read this clearly and properly:You're too fast! I get motion-sickness by just looking at the record-breaking speed your moving in. Please just slow down a little so I can catch up. I will truly appreciate the favour. Thanks.

Yours truly,
Anonymous Kid

That was a little too random.

It's just that it's already Week 8 of the year. Week 8 is also Continual Assessment Week. I had Physics on Monday. It was average.

Geography and Literature today (Tuesday). Geography wasn't bad but Literature was the real culprit in many students nightmare. "Why Shakespeare? Why?"

Tomorrow, (Wednesday) I'll be having English Comprehension Exam. I also have to write a plot summary by tomorrow. Make a final Logo for AEP and complete Maths Worksheet by Thursday. Prepare for Literature Character Essay on Friday.

Hopefully if this week goes well, Week 9 and 10 will be a little less heavy and I can anticipate my field trip to Vietnam during the Term 1 break after Week 10. Yay! Insya Allah..

Friday the 13th

Assalamualaikum,

Whatever came to your mind when you read the title, this blog entry is not about what you think.
What you're thinking about is probably bad luck and stuff which I didn't have today, instead on "Not my lucky day"...Its already late at night right now. I am just waiting for the first episode of Survivor: Tocantins.. I have always been an avid watcher of Survivor. Taking note of the strategies they use to overcome obstacles and conspiracies that are somewhat ingenious. Survivor is a really amazing reality show which had a long history. There have been like what? 17-18 Seasons? Hmm.. not bad..

Okay, An hour left before the show starts..

Check this out..

Assalamualaikum,

I was surfing through Wikipedia today and see what I saw.

Prophet Muhammad is the most influential person in the history of human civilisation. It is from the 1992 book, "The 100: A ranking of the most influential persons in history." by Michael H. Hart.

"What mainly surprised readers was the first person on Hart's list. Hart decided to choose Muhammad over Jesus or Moses despite the fact that Islam was not the largest religion at the time of writing. Hart attributes this to the fact that Muhammad was successful in both the religious and political realms. He also writes that Muhammad's role in the development of Islam is far more influential than Jesus's collaboration in the development of Christianity."

Not my Lucky day..Trouble with buses..

Assalamualaikum,

Today is a Monday, 9th of February 2009. I had the worst day today. I heavy mix of ups and downs and downs and downs..The bluest Monday of all the Mondays combined..A horribly weird Monday..Take note..

I started off the day as usual, waking up at 5.20 AM so I can catch the "5.40" bus. Nothing bad happened to me, not just yet. I managed to get on the bus. I slept in the bus as the journey was about an hour. I set my alarm to 45 minutes. Somehow the alarm didn't go off and I woke up at Upper East Coast Bus Terminal (UECBT). My stop is supposed to be at Mandarin Gardens which is about ten stops away from UECBT. So now I waited at UECBT at about 6.40. It wasn't long before I got on a bus that will stop at my school. This time, don't even think about sleeping.

I arrived at school and headed straight to the hall, it's Monday so we don't assemble at the Parade Square. Luckily I brought my tie. So "Bla, Bla, Bla" went through the day without a major incident but I have to prepare materials for my Malay Debate by tomorrow.

I stayed back after school with Isaac, who was disabled, and Qi Xun to discuss more of our Science TFU project. In the middle of the project, Mr Zabid asked me and Isaac to pose for some pictures most probably to be placed in the Victoriana, school magazine.

After our little meeting, while walking, I trip and fell onto some tiny rocks. The ones the found around plants. I couldn't walk all the way to the bus stop which has a direct bus home (Bus 13). So I just waited at the bus stop just outside my school. There were two buses I could take 55 (which brings me to Bishan Interchange) and 31 (which brings me to Toa Payoh Inter change) from both I could take another bus straight home. Unfortunately, I got confused with 31 and 36, so I took 36, which will take me to who knows where. Unfortunately again, I didn't realise my error until about half an hour later.

By then, it was 5.30 PM and the bus was around Orchard or Somerset. I saw familiar buses such as 162 (straight home, but this one was going away from home), 143 (Toa Payoh). I thought of dropping down and cross the road to take 162, but I saw from in the bus that there was no "other side of the road". It was a one-way road. I dropped off anyway. It was a familiar place. I've been there a few times with my friends but never managed to overcome the labyrinth of roads and streets. Its called Orchard Road.

I was sucked in by the sea of teenagers hanging out with their buddies. Poor ol' me with my school uniform was hopelessly lost. I headed in a direction which I deduced was the MRT. I could see Takashimaya and Paragon, two places Luqman Nur loved to hang out. What else, I called him. Over the phone I could hear more chaos than where I was. He was having a cheering practice at Irsyad. "Yo, brother.. having cheering practice here, what's up?" He answered. I didn't bother to ask anything. "Ah..Nevermind.."

After what felt like an eternity I was thinking, "This is insanity..!! It's a school day and I'm unsuspectingly dragged to Orchard Road due to a series of unfortunate events. What's next?" I saw a taxi stand. Out of desperation to get home, I hailed a taxi and asked for the pricing to head to Bishan. I had $50 which was meant for some fees I had to pay but wasn't due yet. I used $15 to pay for my ride. I was a nervous wreck. That fifteen bucks is coming out of my allowance. Just have to be a little cheap during reccess.

Imagine that..
